Major Insurance Company is expanding. We are seeking Workers Compensation Adjusters in San Diego, Pasadena and Costa Mesa in Southern California and Oakland in Northern CA.

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
* Handling a Workers Compensation caseload from inception to final settlement, including initial investigation of new workers comp. claims to include recorded statements.
* Working on new business.
* Provide client with status of claims at quarterly meetings.
* Attend an occasional hearing.
* Daily verbal and written communication with client.
* Direct activities of CSR.
* Monitor medical and legal issues of claim files.
* Work w/defense attorneys.
* Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
* High School diploma, IEA classes.
* Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster experience, 3+ years desired.
* IEA certificate and self insurance certificate desired.
*Thorough knowledge of Workers Compensation laws for the state California, including permanent disability and vocational rehabilitation.
* Knowledge of subrogation.
* Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* General computer knowledge required.
