The successful candidate will have:
·a minimum of seven years experience adjudicating medical bills is required
·prior experience in a property and casualty insurance company is required
·preferably a college degree
·extensive knowledge of medical terminology and coding is required
·extensive knowledge of PIP medical bill adjudicating practices is required
·strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding PIP medical bill adjudication is required
·excellent customer service skills is required
·strong PC skills and ability to utilize applicable software applications (Window, Word, Excel) is required
·strong mathematical skills is required
·good analytical skills is required

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
This position is responsible for adjudicating complex, high dollar PIP bills accordance with State guidelines, regulations and established policies and procedures. Performs quality audits on adjudicated medical bills, identifies deficiencies and provides hands-on training and technical guidance to Medical Payment Specialists and Coordinators.
