| Responsibilities: |

|
Responsibilities Include:
As a Underwriter you will be responsible for communicating loan decisions to brokers and sales team.
Underwrites, processes and manages loan submissions received from sales force.
Approves loans to assigned limits.
Manages data entry, closing and funding functions to maintain services standards (supported by processor and funder teams).
Responsible for completeness, accuracy and salability of the funded loan package.
Maintains current job knowledge of underwriting and processing policy.
Assists in the management of the closing agent and appraiser networks.
Manages the active pipeline.
Job Requirements:
2-3 years underwriting & sub prime experience.
Demonstrated ability in either underwriting, sales, or processing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of underwriting policy for all of investors.
Regular communication with brokers and Account Executives regarding status of loans via e-mail, fax and phone.
Accurate entry of loan data, conditions and comments into system.
Leadership with respect to direction of underwriting resources and credit policy execution within team.
Incorporation of appropriate technologies to optimize underwriting performance.
Will help support and grow a world-class, technology-driven mortgage underwriting operation.
