POSITION ON HOLD
Growing Maryland Mortgage Corporation offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Underwriting / Operations Coordinator for their Columbia location. Our client is a Mortgage lender licensed in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. This growing company is currently utilizing three locations with 50 employees, with additional growth projected to 75 employees in 2004. Ownership and Senior Management team gained their prior experience as executives for one of the industries largest and most respected companies. | Responsibilities: |

The Underwriting / Operations Coordinator must have the following qualifications:
Minimum 2 years Mortgage processing and 2 years Mortgage Underwriting in a FNMA and sub-prime environment. Experience as a Wholesale Representative.
Minimum 2 years Supervisory / Management experience (Will consider the right, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills).
Excellent communication skills, high level of enthusiasm and motivation, dedicated to serving the consumer.
Computer software skills in Windows 2000, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Responsibilities Include:
Provide problem resolution and training for processing, sales and closing operations.
Serve as a liaison (including problem resolution) for investors and contract underwriters on all matters relating to the underwriting of FNMA (Including Desktop Underwriter) and sub-prime loans.
Individual will report directly to Senior Management.
