Corporate Positions:
The client has a broad, thriving corporate practice in Los Angeles, comprised of 10 partners and over 40 lawyers. The practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate restructuring and general corporate counseling. They represent a wide variety of corporations, leveraged buyout and private equity funds and investment banks in all types of M&A transactions, including large, middle market and smaller deals, both public and private. They also routinely advise underwriters, issuers, selling security holders and purchasers on a full range of public and private debt and equity financing and complex corporate restructurings, including issuances and refinancings of high yield debt and initial public offerings. Los Angeles corporate attorneys actively advise corporations and boards of directors in connection with a variety of general corporate matters, including corporate governance issues and compliance with federal securities laws and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
The LA office is looking for 3 corporate associates with 2 - 4 years of experience with outstanding corporate experience and excellent scholastic achievement.
Real Estate Positions:
With more than 65 attorneys worldwide (including 10 in California), the Real Estate Group represents, among others, developers, lenders, investment banks, pension funds, real estate investment trusts, domestic and foreign investors and major corporations in connection with real estate-related transactions. The California real estate attorneys work on transactions involving the purchase, sale, construction, financing, development, management and operation of commercial, industrial and residential projects throughout the United States; the public and private offering of various types of real estate securities; leasing on behalf of landlords and major tenants; and restructurings on behalf of lenders and borrowers.
The Real Estate Department is looking for an outstanding mid level associate who is looking for a challenging opportunity in a collegial environment with great long-term potential. The ideal candidate will have 4 - 5 years of solid real estate experience. The department is also recruiting for a senior real estate associate with a minimum of 6 years of experience. This position could be a part-time position.
