Directs Systems Development group functions to ensure system availability, integrity and security. Ensures that information is secured from unauthorized access, processed in an accurate and timely fashion and is available to the member in a usable form. Employs technology to further the competitive position and to improve employee and customer productivity and access.

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
5 to 7 years prior experience in project development of data processing.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to credit unions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications (such as Word, Visio and Excel) preferred.
Designs, plans and coordinates development work projects and provides technical support to project team members.
Manages Development Systems project schedules to ensure timely completion and effective communication with branches and departments regarding project status.
Develops processing and backup procedures to safeguard system integrity, maximize systems availability, and facilitate systems recovery.
Assists Executive Management Team with Development technology plans which ensure that new and existing technology is utilized in order to create operational efficiencies and enable the achievement of established credit union goals.
Assesses the effectiveness of existing networks and processing systems in order to plan for growth and future changes within the organization.
Identifies and resolves network and system-related problems throughout the credit union in order to improve productivity and efficiency.
Consistently demonstrates a courteous, tactful and professional approach in dealing with members and internal customers in accordance with established customer service standards.
Demonstrates concern and respect for others in all interactions, and inspires their confidence and trust.
Strategic Planning and Organizing:
Consistently and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects, sets objectives and goals, anticipates and adjusts for problems/roadblocks, and measures performance against goals to evaluate results.
Uses broad knowledge and perspective to create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
Orchestrates multiple activities simultaneously.
Communications:
Provides timely, direct feedback and information to individuals to enable them to make accurate, informed decisions.
Demonstrates effective face-to-face communications, telephone interactions, and written communications.
Articulates ideas and writes reports, technical materials, and correspondence in a clear, concise manner.
Motivating Others:
Motivates subordinates and team/project members by soliciting their input, delegating work/decision making downward in the organization, empowering employees.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains third-party vendor relationships to strengthen and support Information Systems.
Education and Training:
Four-year college or university diploma (bachelor?s degree) or equivalent experience.
