Global service provider to insurance carriers, self insureds and the growing alternative market. A leader in helping customers meet their redefined and challengeing risk management goals is seeking a property and casualty AVP of National Disability Management Insurance Sales in Parsippany, NJ.
Responsible for selling total risk management outsourcing/claims solutions to self-insured accounts. Services national or major/key accounts; develops and recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term strategies. Prospects and closes new business; and conducts sales calls, schedules promotional work and tracks sales activities on large complex accounts or new territories.
Familiarize established accounts with new products, services, and developments to maintain market penetration.

The AVP of National Disability Management Insurance Sales Responsibilities are:
Quotes prices, prepares proposals and provides information regarding terms of sale. Makes recommendations to management regarding opportunities to maximize sales.
Requires exceptional customer-focused skills.
Must be able to build and maintain credibility and relationships with customers.
Must possess a strong sense of urgency and a high drive for results.
Must be able to outline and sell total packages, e.g., total claims administration for self-insured entities, management of medical and associated costs of workers' compensation and other injury claims, and first report of injury/first notice of loss intake call center.
In order to be totally effective, exercises extensive knowledge of product services such as third party administration, risk management information, medical management services, full adjustments, special investigations, subrogation/recovery.
Develops strategies to maintain and increase market share in a competitive industry through customer contact and knowledge of customer activities. Directs the work of others to achieve goals.
Must have solid industry contacts. Must have extensive knowledge of departments and be able to interact with senior executives to
leverage internal resources.
8+ years sales or related experience desirable.
Less experience with proven track record OK.
