We are looking for the qualified candidate who is a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who knows what it takes to be successful in sales. He or she will have the opportunity to create and manage their own sales team that will be responsible for meeting the yearly new business objective.

|
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prospect potential clients
Develop key, long-term client relationships through direct marketing, personal networking, and company referrals.
Finalize sales by negotiating with the client to obtain the Broker of Record letter, the acceptance of new benefit plans, and the renewal of existing benefit plans.
Design and implement innovative executive and group benefit solutions for the employer.
Properly maintain client relationships through pro-active case management, quality contact and comprehensive reporting.
Develop strategies to provide real value to clients through strategic plan oversight and to deliver quality products and services.
Represent the client to the carrier by negotiating rates, advocating client issues, overseeing the client-carrier relationship, and handling enrollment meetings.
COMPENSATION:
Lucrative commission based compensation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must have three to five years experience in the sale of group health and/or life, disability, and dental insurance and be highly motivated to turn leads into sales.
Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary group insurance products, underwriting procedures, and policy servicing.
Knowledge of fully insured and self-funding methodologies, as well as, other innovative techniques to provide creative benefit plan solutions.
SKILL AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to remain flexible with changing priorities.
Team player with proven leadership skills.
