Job Purpose:
To understand and produce periodic financial reports and analysis in order to tract and safeguard the assets of this fast growing consumer finance company. Works with other senior executives to plan and implement the growth of this retail finance company
|
| Responsibilities: |
|
|
Duties:
Reports directly to the CEO.
Manages direct reports including accounting.
Produce accurate and timely monthly and annual detailed and summary consolidated balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements for company and stores.
Produce accompanying monthly analysis and trend reports.
Produce Annual and Quarterly projections and performance to plan results.
Further develop their already fairly effective internal control policies and procedures to protect the company’s assets and integrity of its reports.
Must understand and participate in how to do in-store audits and participate in or oversee the independent store auditing function.
Provide financial modeling, pricing and analysis for new store acquisitions, openings, new business ventures.
Perform acquisition analysis and help with acquisition integration.
Oversee cash management function.
Work with outside auditing firm and other financial institutions.
Required Skills & Background
CPA required MBA or equivalent desired.
5+ years experience as treasurer or CFO.
Must have computer skills Excel and MS Word as minimum and Crystal Reports, Mass 90 and other accounting applications and hardware knowledge desirable.
Must have worked in a real-time high performance work environment.
Must have knowledge of the sub-prime consumer market.
Must be able to produce appropriate financial analysis as needed.
Must know and have experience with acquisition accounting cash + notes for assets and various consolidation techniques.
Merger and acquisition experience.
Money raising skills a plus.
