Plans and directs all aspects of a jewelry organization's policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for the short- and long-term profitability and growth of the company. Jewelry experience desired.

Primary Duties of the Jewelry CEO:
Responsible for overall management of the organization.
Primary responsibilities will involve business development, marketing, product distribution, and vendor relations.
Oversee Profit and Loss.
Develop and maintain ongoing internal communications with senior staff. Communicate orally and in writing to staff to solve concerns, answers questions and to present company initiative and objectives.
The President/ CEO is responsible for overall financial and operational management of the jewelry company. Primary responsibilities often involve business development, marketing, continuing good relationships and partnerships with vendors, and delivery of the overall strategy. May attend and participate in industry conferences to market the organization and capabilities. May be asked to leverage existing rolodex within the industry to develop strategic relationships. May assist the business development team on structuring and signing deals.
Major duties of the Jewelry Chain CEO could include:
Business Strategy
In coordination with senior management, develops strategic, operational plans designed to meet long-term goals and objectives of the company.
Identifies market opportunities.
Business Relationships, Contracting and Development
Responsible for developing strong customer relationships that support the overall growth objectives.
Participates directly in negotiations and maintains business contracts.
Carries out activities within the local and national industry community that promote the growth and development of a unique brand.
Recruit and train staff.
Communications:
Develop and maintain an ongoing internal communications with corporate management, and department executives, as well as developing strong professional and collaborative relations with clients and vendors.
The President/CEO has the ultimate fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders to husband the corporation's resources and focus and target the deployment of those resources to increase shareholder value.
