Our client is seeking a Regional Nursing Director in the Southern California area to work out of their corporate headquarters.
The ideal candidate must have taught an RN program in a school (College or University) for at least 2 years as required by California State Regulations.

The Regional Nursing Director Requirements are as follows:
Must have an MSN degree in Nursing.
Doctoral preparation preferred.
Must have taught an RN program in a school (College or University) for at least 2 years as required by California State Regulations.
Minimum 5 years experience in Nursing Education.
Administrative management experience desired.
Must be able to Travel.
The Responsibilities for the Regional Nursing Director include:
Liaison/facilitator with sites, boards of nursing and corporate.
Direct contact with the nursing board if no Program Chair in place.
Establish and maintain relationships with professional organizations and boards with respective/assigned states.
Set-up of RN Associate Degree and LVN/LPN Diploma Nursing Programs, including clinical sites, hiring of teaching staff, physical set-up of the program, and oversight of program submission to the State RN Board of Nursing or the Vocational Board of Nursing (dependent upon the state). Future development of fully articulated BSN and MSN Programs with online capability (as state mandated).
Development of and monitoring for compliance of nursing education policies and procedures within their respective/assigned state.
Development of Continuing Education Programs for nursing graduates to fulfill their required CEUs for re-licensure.
