A Healthcare Education RN is needed in Booming Las Vegas, NV!
A leader in healthcare education, is seeking a Registered Nurse Program Director for their location in Las Vegas, NV.
The Nursing Program Director will direct a new program that will prepare students for eligibility for a license as a Registered Nurse.
Must have the Following to be Considered:
Masters Degree in Nursing
RN
Collegiate Level Teaching Experience
Eligible for a Nevada RN License.

| Responsibilities: |

|
Responsibilities include:
Developing all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, preparation of accreditation reports for the Board of Nursing and National League for Nursing, faculty recruitment, development and evaluation, clinical site development and resource allocation.
The Director is expected to:
Develop strong working relationships with federal, state and local constituencies, accrediting bodies, nursing boards, clinical site personnel, students and alumni, and demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to mentor faculty members. Must have the ability to lead the Nursing Program in the implementation of the parent organization's strategic plan.
Must possess computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and preferably PowerPoint.
A Masters degree in Nursing and teaching experience at the collegiate level is required.
Experience is preferred in academic administration and accreditation.
Previous program director experience in a program that prepares student to become licensed as a Registered Nurse is desired.
It would be helpful if the qualified candidate has established contacts and working relationships with hospital agencies in the Las Vegas area.
Must be eligible for a Nevada R.N. License.
