Major Insurance Company is seeking 8 Loss Time Workers Compensation Claims Adjusters for their Chicago area office.

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
The ideal candidates will have:
Workers' Comp Claims Adjuster experience, 2+ years desired for adjusters and 5+ years experience for Supervisor.
Thorough knowledge of W.C. laws for Illinois State, including permanent disability and vocational rehabilitation.
Knowledge of subrogation.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
General computer knowledge required.
Responsibilities will include:
Handling W.C. caseload from inception to final settlement, including initial investigation of new claims to include recorded statements.
Working on new business.
Provide client with status of claims at quarterly meetings.
Attend an occasional hearing.
Daily verbal and written communication with client.
Direct activities of CSR.
Monitor medical and legal issues of claim files.
Work w/defense attorneys.
Other duties as assigned.
