Dynamic Global Fund Operation VP Needed!
The Director of Settlements directs global Trading Settlements operations and activities and has full responsibility for the planning recommending and monitoring of procedures and systems to be used in the Trading Settlements function throughout the client's companies. Based on business needs, determines technology upgrades and prepares annual budget. Responsible for employee development and succession planning for Trading Settlements employees.

Responsibilities include:
Directs the Trading Settlements function client's companies worldwide, manages Trading Settlements staff and is responsible for ensuring Settlements department meets company determined performance standards.
Manages external relationships, coordinates and facilitates quarterly strategic planning sessions.
Projects and prepares annual Trading Settlements budget and Ensures department managers to budget.
Reviews, analyzes and implements new technology to assure efficiency and accuracy of all functions.
Reviews data and makes final decisions regarding highly complex Settlements issues including payment of trade expense error claims for all employer's companies.
Provides guidance to employees to increase their knowledge of Trading Settlements; coaches employees in the development of competencies and skills.
Job requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Business or equivalent experience required.
Advanced training or degree preferred. Additional education desired in Business Management, Accounting, Finance and Computer Systems.
7 – 10 years of related experience demonstrating a continued increase in responsibility.
A minimum of 4 years experience in a managerial role.
Working knowledge of the Employer's systems including CSD, BSI, Alert, SID and FX match.
7 – 10 years experience of Trading Settlement practices, industry regulations, country market practices and knowledge of security types.
