50 Million Dollar expanding Insurance Agency is seeking a Controller for their Sacramento, CA, Property and Casualty Insurance Agency.Local Area residents only. No relocation package available.

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
The Commercial Property and Casualty Controller should have the following skills / experience:
Must have Direct experience in a Property and Casualty Insurance Agency
Must know the Applied / Tam accounting system
CPA designation desired, but not required
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of direct experience in the field.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Background must include strong technical skills in financial statement preparation and analysis, and the ability to take internally generated financial information and present findings and analysis directly to upper management.
The Responsibilities for the Commercial Property and Casualty Controller include:
Manage an Accounting Team of 3 people and 3 Branch offices.
Analyze financial statements at the end of the month.
Budgeting and forecast preparation as needed.
