Growing established industry leading specialty retail stores located throughout California and Nevada is seeking an E-Commerce Manager for their Anaheim, CA. location to oversee and manage their rapidly growing and successful Internet / E-Commerce department.

The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience as well as a strong understanding of Internet Commerce, will know how to get business done and sees the big picture. Candidates should be highly motivated, dependable, and have a desire to take ownership of their duties to help the company grow and succeed. This position reports directly to the Company President. As a leader on the E-Commerce team you will drive the development and execution of all online business initiatives; along with our customer service, warehouse and merchandising operations.
The Job Requirements for the E-Commerce Manager are as follows:
BA/BS required, MBA preferred
Management experience in customer service, call center, or catalog environment
Supervisory experience with a SUCCESSFUL e-retailer or mail order company.
Extensive experience with programs such as Microsoft office, Photoshop, Front Page or equivalent software.
3+ years of E-commerce running an online business in a managerial capacity.
Must have proven leadership experience in E-commerce retail operations and marketing. Need to have a demonstrated success in development and execution of strategic, cost-effective online business initiatives, plans and campaigns.
Thorough understanding of the Online Retailing and the challenging dynamics behind it.
Proven e-marketing initiatives and experience with successful campaigns.
Strong understanding of online marketing, affiliate marketing, SEO, paid search, organic search and marketing analysis.
Possesses strong analytical ability coupled with creative problem solving skills
Manages with a diplomatic but results-oriented management style
Desires a challenging and fast paced work environment
Can communicate clearly and effectively with subordinates and Executive Management.
The Job Duties and Responsibilities of the E-Commerce Manager will include the following:
Supervise, steer and direct customer service and warehouse departments.
Work closely with current vendors and direct online merchandising.
Build new vendor and merchandising relationships.
Website Administration, manage the merchant card process, charge backs, inventory updates and new merchandising placement.
Monthly reports to management including P&L reporting.
Work with web hosting and development to resolve website technical problems.
Steer and direct website development and growth. Ensure best practices.
All online website marketing, including pay-per-click advertising, email campaigns, link and banner exchanges and comparison sites.
Act as a liaison between company and the brick and mortar marketing, merchandising, accounting, and warehousing departments.
Recruit, Hire, and Train additional staff as the department grows.
Web site statistics preparation, analysis, and evaluation.
Other duties as needed.
