Your Mortgage Operations Management Experience is Needed!
We seek an experienced Mortgage Operations Manager to join our Residential Real Estate team. The position is located in San Diego, California.

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
The responsibilities of the Operations Manager are as follows:
Oversees the daily work of the Underwriters, Funders, underwriters and Processors Department, and performs managerial duties including, but not limited to, staffing training, goals and objectives, employee relations, and performance evaluations.
Facilitates the flow of loans through the submission, approval, conditions, and funding, processing and post closing stages and ensures that brokers and Account Executives are receiving quality service from the department.
Reviews loans in excess of Underwriters’ approval authority, exceptions to policy and declined loans to evaluate if sound underwriting practices have been followed and to ensure consistency and compliance with Company standards.
Submits loan files to appropriate level for final approval if over authorized approval limit.
Reviews and approves brokers to submit loans in accordance with Company policies.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate possesses:
Candidates must have 2+ years of Mortgage Operations Management experience in a sub-prime environment.
College degree preferred.
Thorough knowledge of residential mortgage business including, but not limited to, related laws and regulations, title and escrows, appraisal reviews, underwriting, loan documents and funding, loan packaging and processing.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Personal computer skills with general knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
