| Responsibilities: |
|
|
The Director of Healthcare will have the following responsibilities:
Delivery of Health Services comprised of Primary Medical, Medical Specialties, Long Term Services and Dental Services throughout multiple county delivery system.
Provider relations.
Utilization Management.
Practice Management.
Business Operations.
Medical Record Documentation.
Quality Assurance.
The Director of Healthcare will Participate in the Business Planning for further expansion of services and locations to include the development of financial models for marketing to new agencies:
Oversee expansion of service delivery to new services and new agencies including the gathering of statewide patient and service information, identifying unmet need and entering into cooperative arrangements with new agencies.
Oversee Health Center Budget, Reimbursement Management, Financial Reporting and Billing and Collections in conjunction with Chief Financial Officer
Work with Information Technology department to implement remote connectivity and operational capability for regional coordinators and expansion agencies in multiple county locations.
Ensure regulatory compliance with DOH, OSHA, HCFA and all other applicable regulations through oversight of Continuous Quality improvement program. Continue existing relationships with DOH and appropriate consultants to obtain any necessary clarifications.
Responsible for Health Center Board Committee agenda and meeting coordination.
The Director of Healthcare will Participate in the following committees:
Health Center Board Committee, Planning Committee, Corporate Compliance Committee, Clinical Operations Committee, CQI Committee, Infection Control Committee, Credentialing Committee, Clinical Coordinator’s Meeting, Utilization Committee, Health Center Information Technology Committee and Health Center Corporate Compliance Sub Committee.
Coordinate, with other Liberty Directors, the development of systems for Salary Administration, Consultant Rate Administration and Malpractice Insurance.
Participate in Liberty Steering Team, Program Director’s Meetings, management meetings and other activities for the entire organization.
Represent the Health Center on external committees and other professional groups to continue to develop public relations and networking with peers.
Promote the goal of recognition of the Health Center as a Center of Excellence.
