Well established Long Island, NY AV integrator for commercial and government facilities seeks experienced Audio Visual Systems Design Engineer for creation of customized Audio Video ( AV ) solutions.

| Responsibilities: |

|
The Audio Video Design Engineer's Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Min 3-5 years experience in systems design, electronics engineering.
Support sales staff and customers with needs analysis, design development, and technical presentations.
Advise our project managers and site technicians to ensure quality end-product installs consistent with design intent.
Occasional travel.
AV industry training and certifications required (ICIA, NSCA, CEDIA, ISF, SYN AUD CON all a plus). Networking a plus.
Professional manner, attention to detail, verifiable references.
Meeting with customers to discuss requirements, research new products, develop block connectivity drawings / schematics in ACAD or Visio, project estimating, working with vendors and manufacturers, develop cable schedules, rack elevations.
Writing skills are critical for executive summaries and explaining solutions to customers.
Salary based on experience with an excellent benefits package including medical and 401K. Paid holidays and vacation as well as bonus programs for completion of technical training opportunities.
