Major Direct Mail Company, located in New York City, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer with the vision of taking the company to the next level. Candidate will direct operational initiatives to effectively grow business and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency, and collaborates with senior management leading the organization toward achieving business and sales goals and objectives. Must be able to travel in the USA and Orient. Must submit resume, references and writing samples.

The Chief Operating Officer must possess the following Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s in Business degree; graduate degree a plus
Minimum 10 years prior management experience; Proficiency in areas of management and development
Must be highly motivated and able to influence and motivate others
Ability to make sound judgments
Superior problem-solving and interpersonal skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Possess high-level ethics and integrity
Principal Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to establish and accomplish organizational goals and objectives, as well as, strategic plans for the organization.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations remaining aligned with the objectives and directives of the Chief Executive Officer.
Provide leadership to management offering advice, guidance, and direction on business matters, including operational policies and procedures, new business initiatives, and management of existing client relationships. Foster a success-oriented and accountable environment.
Develop plans for business expansion activities in conjunction with business maintenance and renewal of identified accounts. Identify opportunities to increase value added-services to client.
Actively contribute to new business presentations where needed.
Review and approve all client agreements and operating policies and procedures.
Engineer the alignment of people, processes, policies, and assets to an optimal balance between the service offering and goals.
Identify and implement change initiatives throughout the company that improve workflow and productivity.
Facilitate the horizontal integration of communications between departments to remove obstacles, improve responsiveness, and facilitate prompt decision-making.
Promote networking opportunities within the Group companies.
Initiate and participate in strategic and tactical brainstorming sessions across all initiatives.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate rapid growth objectives.
Review operating results, comparing with established objectives, and recommend appropriate measures to enhance outcome.
Manage all operational support departments.
Manage and supervise several positions within the companies. Collaborate with setting goals and objectives, monitor progress, assist with performance development, and measure job performance. Maintain open performance and development communication; encouraging growth.
Perform other duties as required.
