We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant in Palm Beach County Florida. This position involves advising clients on their taxes and ensuring tax compliance. The Senior Tax Accountant will communicate with existing and prospective clients to provide individual and corporate tax consulting, compliance, tax provision reviews and resolve tax planning issues. The Senior Tax Accountant will develope and maintain client relationships. A Florida CPA Certificate in good standing is mandatory.

The Qualifications of the Senior Tax Accountant are as follows:
5 plus years of Certified Public Accounting Firm experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate and partnership returns.
B.A./B.S. in Accounting.
Graduate Degree in Taxation desirable.
A Florida CPA Certificate in good standing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) required.
The Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant are as follows:
Prepare Federal, State, and Local Income and Franchise Tax Returns.
Analyze tax data provided by individuals and companies.
Research tax issues using tax library and on-line tax services.
Communicate and advise customers on tax related matters.
Calculate tax basis and tax implications of proposed transactions.
Communicate orally and in writing with tax authorities.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Gather documentation and provide analysis to support tax positions under audit.
