"Vice President / Commercial Lending Manager with Systems Processing Experience to Head New Commercial Lending Business Unit"
The Vice President / Commercial Lending Manager performs routine management activities and provides direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning for the company. Maintains knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques related to commercial real estate origination and operations. Works under limited supervision with substantial latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

|
The Vice President / Commercial Lending Manager's Experience, Skill and/or Educational Requirements are as follows:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
6-10 years of commercial lending experience.
Superior knowledge of commercial lending products.
Familiarity with competitor product lines and commercial compliance regulations.
Comprehensive experience in risk evaluation, loan documentation and commercial loan collection activities.
Demonstrated superior sales, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and leverage professional relationships within and outside the company.
The Vice President / Commercial Lending Manager's General Responsibilities are as follows:
Maintains relationships with outside counsel and business partners.
Participates in various civic groups and professional associations.
Reports to the President of the company.
Has line relationships with “sister company” Department Managers and authority line relationship with all department staff.
Act as primary contact for new business development which focuses on the acquisition of highly complex and highly profitable commercial customers.
Participate in joint calls with related businesses to develop customer relationships and support specific product sales across business lines.
Credit Quality/Portfolio Management.
Identify, evaluate, structure and document commercial credit transactions to ensure maximum profitability with reasonable risk.
Work with internal and external auditors and corporate compliance to ensure conformity with company policies and procedures and federal and state regulations.
Represent company in civic and community functions to further enhance company’s image and develop expanded business.
Act as mentor to Loan Analysts, Portfolio Manager, Sales Associates/Loan Officers and/or less experienced Relationship Managers.
Participates in special projects as assigned.
Originate loans as required by providing the prospective borrower with an application packet and assist the borrower in the process as needed.
Define and manage the company’s “Commercial Real Estate Lending Policy & Procedures.”
Participates in “loan Committee” presenting loans to the appropriate lending authorities for approval.
Prepare Commitment Letters, negotiate same, and prepare loans for settlement.
Monitor closed loans as Relationship Manager to the borrowers. This includes, but is not limited to, extending matured loans, annual review of financial information provided by the borrowers, and monitoring of loan status with regards to performance.
