High End Commercial Property Development Company, located in New York City is seeking a Vice President of Hospitality to lead the conversion of a luxury landmark property into a multi use hotel and condominium location. The Vice President of Hospitality will provide design and FF & E The company offers an excellent salary and benefits package, including health and life insurance, vacation, sick days, and 401K plan. administration services by managing product selections for the interiors of this property.
The Vice President of Hospitality must possess the following experience:
5+ years Hotel Hospitality FF& E experience required
Bachelors Degree preferred in Hotel Hospitality
Proficient with a variety of computer programs and purchase order programs
Experience dealing with high end fashion designers
Must have worked on a high-end luxury hotel site and mixed use luxury development

| Responsibilities: |
|
|
Overseeing the purchasing inclusive of furniture, fixtures, operating supplies and equipment by developing and implementing an effective teamwork approach which will facilitate project development
Manages projects by acting as a liaison between Product and Design and customers, owners, franchisees, designers and vendors
Ensures that all stakeholders are kept informed and updated regarding project developments
Ensures prototype and designer specifications are current
Promotes superior customer service by ensuring timely project completion
Efficiently manages the procurement of furniture, fixtures and equipment by coordinating the bidding, negotiation, design and purchasing aspect of each individual project
Ensures accurate, up-to-date information is provided to client, including coordination of timeliness, scheduling, installation and shipping status
Assist designers with alternate suggestions to ensure budget parameters are met while making sure the designer's intent is not jeopardized
Ensures quality and timeliness while acting as client's representative in overseeing on-site installation of items including wall covering, floor covering and furniture
Evaluates, coordinates and troubleshoots all aspects of FF&E projects to enhance all stages of each assigned project
Assist in the verification of independent designers' specifications to ensure the specifications meet standards developed by brand
Evaluates specifications and discuss with suppliers to confirm the correct application of specifications for their intended use in the hospitality industry
Coordinates the expediting of all FF&E to establish shipping schedules for receipt of goods to ensure no lost client revenue
Develops and promotes sound vendor relationships by staying current on trends in the marketplace
Attends manufacturer informational meetings to establish new vendor sources and identify product offerings which will enhance guest experience
Researches through designer, architect or local officials required fire and safety codes which are applicable for the individual project sites
Evaluates current trends in the hospitality industry by reading and researching trade magazines and periodicals
