The Assistant Controller will be required to possess working knowledge of GAAP principles to ensure compliance as well as supervising and managing subordinates.

The Requirements of the Assistant Controller are as Follows:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
Minimum 5 years general accounting experience.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
Two+ years of public accounting preferred, CPA preferred.
Experience in income tax preparation preferred.
Experience with multi-company organizations preferred.
The Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller are as Follows:
Post and review various general ledger entries across multiple companies as well as the preparation of the monthly financial package.
Prepare financial analysis and ensure reporting compliance in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Manage and supervise the work of accounting department subordinates.
