We are Searching for an Experienced Governmental Contracting & Business Specialist!
Our client is a growing Power Engineering services and turn key solutions provider company that prides itself on exceeding client expectations. We are seeking a Governmental Contracting & Business Specialist who is highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Work primarily relates to government contracting, bid preparation, relationship development and supports Professional Engineering services related to GSA & other governmental contract vehicles. The Governmental Contracting & Business Specialist is expected to have an ability to support business development efforts through direct client interaction and opportunity closure activities. This position is full-time employment.

The Qualifications and Requirements of the Governmental Contracting & Business Specialist are as Follows:
College degree or equivalent in experience.
Experience in government contracting.
Experience with GSA schedules and procedures.
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Professional Oral & Written Communications.
Job Costing, and Spreadsheet manipulation.
Job duties will require travel and direct client interaction.
Team Work and Multi-Tasking Skills.
Applicant must be fluent in English and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The Responsibilities of the Governmental Contracting & Business Specialist are as Follows:
Daily review and search for bid opportunities in the Federal, State and Local arenas.
Provide liaison in support of GSA schedules.
Determination of bid opportunities pursued.
Development and maintenance of relationships with contracting personnel.
Responsible for bid package & report preparation, organization, deadlines and proofing based on provided information and standard report formats.
