The Operations Manager provides leadership over many aspects of the company's projects. Operations management responsibilities include but are not limited to maintenance, construction, equipment, labor and materials as well as monitoring and coordinating engineering resources. This position requires a high level of operations expertise within the energy industry, so only candidates with 10 plus years as an Operations Manager with present energy related experience need apply.

The Requirements of the Operations Manager are as Follows:
10 plus years as an Operations Manager with present energy related experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of union contracts a must.
Must have knowledge of safety and energy regulations as set forth by regulatory bodies.
The Responsibilities of the Operations Manager are as Follows:
Determine resources and equipment needed to efficiently complete projects on time.
Monitor safety practices and identify and correct unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Use of Six Sigma methodology to ensure efficiency and quality.
24/7 availability for emergency response.
Working knowledge of electric, gas and water operations practices including, construction standards, equipment purchases and maintenance, materials, etc.
Ensure that company employees and contractors are following company and agency regulations.
Responsible for selection, hiring and firing of contractors.
Oversee and participate in the hiring of company employees.
Must be very experienced with computer hardware and software systems.
Ability to read utility maps, plans and drawings.
Understanding of budget and financial reports.
