We are Searching for an Experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager!
The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance team and providing preventative maintenance and repair service to the company's fleet of heavy trucks and equipment. The Fleet Maintenance Manager must bring 10 years of diverse heavy truck and equipment maintenance experience as well as 2 years of management experience. The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for about 110 pieces of heavy trucks, heavy equipment and plant equipment as well as all aspects of hiring employees, setting schedules, tracking inventory, work records, accounting and budgeting and Federal and local DOT regulations and will be responsible for preventative maintenance and approval of parts for vehicles and equipment.

The Requirements of the Fleet Maintenance Manager include:
2+ years fleet maintenance management experience.
10+ years of hands-on heavy truck and equipment maintenance experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as standard computer proficiency.
The Responsibilities of the Fleet Maintenance Manager include:
Coordinate unit repair and preventative maintenance needs with Transportation Manager.
Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
Ensure compliance with company assignments and D.O.T., OSHA, EPA and any other government regulatory agencies, including required reporting and paperwork.
Hire maintenance employees and provide training to new and existing maintenance employees and ensure that training and maintenance is being performed safely and by company policy.
Perform performance appraisals and disciplinary action with employees in accordance with company policy.
Perform duties of each position if necessary.
Manage parts inventories.
