We are Searching for a Chief Operations Officer (COO) with Janitorial Experience!
Our client is a provider of commercial and industrial building services to include janitorial and landscape maintenance to public and private customers.

|
|
The Responsibilities and Qualifications of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) are as Follows:
15 years in the janitorial industry w/ operating experience.
Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office).
Create bids/proposals for new work.
Travel outside of FL to government accounts required on at least a quarterly basis.
Oversees contract operations, performs day-to-day liaison with Building administrative personnel as needed.
Has the authority to commit company resources and make decisions regarding contract personnel, e.g., hire, schedule project personnel.
Oversees Operations Manager, authorized to make changes regarding contract operations, e.g., scheduling project work.
Performs Quality Control inspections on as needed basis with Key Clients.
Ensures contract requirements are met and fall within budget requirements or exceeded ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Ensures compliance by all company on-site management and staff with all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding OSHA, environmental protections, security and all other applicable directives and regulations.
Ensures employees receive and maintain proper training regarding equipment usage, customer service, safety, policies and procedures, etc.
Track, compile and analyze data related to sales objectives, budget variances and other critical data and prepare and submit reports for review by President/CEO.
Review and distribute incoming communications from customers and follow up to ensure timely response.
Plan, direct and control all operational functions of the organization including sales, finance, technology and development.
Establish operating policies, procedures, budgets and goals in keeping with overall business plan.
Monitor activities and achievements of each function and work with function heads to develop and implement initiatives to meet business goals within budget constraints.
Provide any range of periodic and special reports relating to financial and business activities.
Position is overall function head and reports directly to President/CEO. Work is peformed with autonomy and only limited direction.
Solicit new business and complete request for proposals for commercial and governmental entities.
