We are Searching for a Business Unit Manager with Excellent Project Management Skills!


The Business Unit Manager in Denver, CO provides business project research, development, implementation and management on an ongoing basis for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This Business Unit Manager is responsible for providing business support / services to the CEO and various functional business units. This position will manage various projects, tasks and administer the planning and execution of ongoing special projects, global teams, initiatives, meetings and reports as assigned by CEO as needed. Must have experience with real estate acquisitions and investment. Wall Street experience with hedge funds a plus.

Responsibilities:    
The Qualifications of the Business Unit Manager are as Follows:
  • MBA required.
  • 5 to 7 years business experience, including project management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and work effectively with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage work across all areas of the business and function successfully within a multi-national/cultural environment.
  • Ability to make decisions, take initiative, identify problems, generate solutions, and commit to action; self-directed.
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to flexibility.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as the internet.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    The Responsibilities of the Business Unit Manager are as Follows:
  • Establish actionable plans/solutions to enable business objectives and initiatives in support of direction given by the CEO.
  • Research, develop, and implement processes and procedures for achieving results.
  • Organize efforts to plan, develop, and follow-up on projects/meetings to achieve desired outcomes (e.g., CEO, management team, California project manager, leadership Teams, family members, and administrative staff).
  • Manage the aviation team’s operational procedures, budget, and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Manage the ranch personnel’s operational procedures and budget.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor California project manager.
  • Develop and utilize toolkits and deliverables regarding management operating systems for CEO, leadership teams, and family members.
  • Develop business strategy for national real estate acquisitions.
  • Evaluate and implement real estate development improvements.
  • Proactively manage various entities, issues, and communications.
  • Ability to analyze, comprehend, and prepare financial statements, forecast projections, and manage quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Ability to analyze contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising initiative, discretion and judgment and make appropriate decisions within the scope of assigned responsibility.
  • Handle confidential and time sensitive material with integrity, diplomacy and discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is required both domestically and internationally, and is estimated at no more than 30%.
